Are you looking for a helpful response to those high-pitched, summertime whines that go something like, "Aaaawwww, there's nothin' to do today." A trip to Petoskey's Pennsylvania Park for SEE-North's Nature at Noon programs can be an exciting and educational outing for you and your family. It's a chance to learn and have fun -- and at SEE-North, fun is what learning is all about!
Did you know that people remember 10% of what they hear, 30% of what they read, 50% of what they see, and 90% of what they do? It's true. Based on this research about learning, we've planned a series of one-hour programs that will get everyone involved up to their elbows -- whether it's by planting, making a solar cooker, crafting a "natural" instrument, or making a puppet. Nature at Noon helps young minds build an enduring understanding about science and the environment. Come one, come all!
All Nature at Noon programs are free and open to the public. Please call to confirm the event if weather is questionable. Click here to download the schedule for Summer 2007.
