Marilynn Smith, a local expert mycologist, will once again bring to life the world of mushrooms through hands-on classes and field trips. Evening class sessions will focus on classification and natural history, while field trips will focus on identification and collection methods. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation sponsors a statewide convergence of people
from education, business, industry and government, focusing on the importance
of math and science
education and the essential role of Michigan’s 33 regional Mathematics
and Science Centers. SEE-North is northern lower Michigan’s designated
Mathematics and Science Center and serves schools and communities in Charlevoix,
Cheboygan, Emmet, Otsego and Presque Isle Counties.
